Scalemaker HRis
Terms of service
Effective October 7, 2026. These terms are between you and Scalemaker HR, operated by Stacey Kay, for use of Scalemaker HRis.
The service
Scalemaker HRis is an HR information system and applicant tracking service that Scalemaker HR provides to employer clients. If you are an applicant, you can view open jobs on a career page and submit an application, including a resume. If you are an employee or another user of an employer client, you sign in to use the parts of the product that employer has given you.
The employer, not Scalemaker HR, makes hiring and employment decisions. An offer, a schedule, or a record in the product is the employer’s, even when Scalemaker HRis delivers it.
Accounts
Applicants do not need an account to apply. If you have a sign-in, keep your password to yourself and use the second step when it is turned on. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend access that is misused, or close it when the employer client asks us to.
Your information
Give accurate information. Upload only files you have the right to share. If you choose a resume from Google Drive, you authorize the page to download that one file and attach it to your application, as described in the Privacy policy. Do not send someone else’s personal information unless you have a proper reason to do so, such as an employer user entering a record they are allowed to keep.
Acceptable use
Do not try to break into the service, probe it without permission, disrupt it, or use it to harm someone. Do not scrape it in a way that degrades the service. Do not use it to send unlawful content or to impersonate another person.
Privacy
The Privacy policy explains what the product collects and how to ask about your information.
Changes and availability
We may change, add, or remove features. The product is provided as it is available. We work to keep it running, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It is a record-keeping and recruiting tool. It is not legal, tax, or employment advice.
Responsibility
Scalemaker HR is not responsible for an employer’s hiring decisions, pay, or workplace policies. To the extent the law allows, Scalemaker HR is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. If a separate written agreement between Scalemaker HR and an employer client conflicts with these terms, that agreement controls for that client.
Governing law
Arizona law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes about these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arizona.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. If you keep using Scalemaker HRis after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the service and contact us.
